with lots of expensive shops and restaurants, and very beautiful neon lights and lcds in the streets, Ginza is what I have heard of many times even before coming to Japan. But I didnt go into any of the prestigious departmental stores, partly because i know the price is not going to make my wallet happy, also because i am sure that except some wagashi like tokyo banana cake, most of the stuff can be bought in Nagoya =p
so we went pass Wako departmental stores
walk along Chuo-dori

the shop (recommended in wikitravel) that sells lots of origami and handcrafts - great for souvenirs but i found them too pricey...
saw an Indian vegetarian restaurant!!!!!! (japanese doesnt really know what a vegetarian is - see the rant on Gideon blog)
had dinner in a pub, of course, with umeishu
and then we have reached shimbashi and decided to head to the artificial island again for night scene!
