Technology in Japan is surely advance. Toilet seat heater, spray, bidet, fake fushing sound and clever way of water saving (last pic).
I havent tried the spray: 1. i was told tht it needs trial n error to get the right direction, and 2. given that the water is stored in room temperature it might be a great environment for bacteria. Besides, I've got sorbent flushable toilet wipe =p
And one question that bothers me is, if the heated seat is kept at room temperature (though some has got pressure detector that would only start operating upon activated), wouldnt that be an oasis for bacteria (again)? it says antibacteria on the seat (like some of the plastic cutting board material) but i am unsure of how antibacteria it can be..
still, they are really cool =p great thing to have at home!

Hey, just wanna say ur posts on Japan trip was really infomative for me. Lol, the toilet, I've spent 5minutes inside looking for the button to flush. Not everywhere has this kind of toilet only found it in Seiyu, Tokyo.
hey... lol there's this toilet in the public where the flush is by hand sensing - and there wasnt any instructions - i spent more than 5 min trying to figure out how to flush XD
yea most public toilets are still squating ones, except the big departmental stores and working places
