Hokkaido - Japan northest island

I didn't get to visit the other island when I was in Honsu(the island where Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Kyoto etc are), Japan. However, I found lasi's trip to hokkaido's photo album when i was searching for some pics from cds today =p the snowy island is amazing - love the mountains covered in snow so much!

The tour guide brought them to a museum which shows the aborigins (Ainu) 's traditional music and dance. And then they were brought around in hokkaido (and of course stopping in Sapporo - the captial of Hokkaido, cost them around RM9k pp for 7 days:

this is the most amazing shot. without the bus on the side of the picture, i would have thought this is a black n white pic. You know, it looks just like some chinese art painting.

snowing at night... heck i haven't seen snowing in my life =(

But there is one thing i know about hokkaido - there's crazily many seafood, especially kaki(oyster) in winter!!!!!!! i ate soooo many Hokkaido's kakis in Nagoya and I think they are softer (which i like) compared to australian/nz ones. love them so much! and they are usually covered in battered and deep fried, served with rice - yum!
